We strive to set every client up for success by making the grant-seeking process as smooth and efficient as possible. To do that, we begin with a simple question: “Is your organization grant ready?”When you’re well-prepared, it becomes easier to identify the right opportunities, increase your grant funding over time, and ensure that your time and resources are used wisely.

If you can answer “yes” to the questions below, you’re grant ready and ready to partner with us.

ARE YOU GRANT READY?

• Do you represent a government agency, educational institution, or nonprofit organization?

•  If you are a nonprofit, do you have your 501(c)(3) IRS designation, another 501 charitable designation, or a fiscal sponsorship agreement with a 501(c)(3) organization?

• If you are a nonprofit, have you held your 501 status for at least three years?

•  If you are a nonprofit, are you current on all required annual state filings?

•   (For New Mexico, this includes being listed as in “Good Standing” on the NM Attorney General’s Charity Search and the New Mexico Secretary of State Corporation Search.)*

• Do you have current mission and vision statements?

• Do you have a board- or council-approved operating budget for the current year?

•  Do you have written financial or accounting policies in place?

• Is your organization free of major financial issues (such as back taxes, loan defaults, or significant prior-year deficits)?

•  If your annual revenue exceeds $500,000, do you have a recent audit with no findings?
